The Fira de Sant Josep de Mollerussa (Pla d'Urgell, Lleida) has been held since 1885 and is an evolution of the town's old livestock fairs. It is considered one of the most important fairs in Catalonia in its specialty, agricultural machinery. In 1960, with the mechanisation of farming, it entered a new stage: the presence of agricultural machinery increased at the expense of livestock, until becoming the current focus of the fair.
