Tower of Puigcercós Monument · Tremp, Pallars Jussà, Lleida 11th-12th-century Romanesque circular tower, of small, lightly worked rubble masonry joined with lime mortar, 2.35 m in interior diameter and 1.4 m of wall thickness, with rectangular arrow slits today collapsed; it probably corresponds to the "castro Poga Circuso" mentioned in 941. Disputed between the Mur family and the Crown in 1194, it passed in 1304 to the Pabordia of Santa Maria de Mur; the settlement and the tower have been threatened by landslides since 1858.
