Remains of a castle atop the Turó de Sant Pere (510 m), above the confluence of the Llobregós with the Segre, made up of a circular tower and two walled precincts; Ponts is already mentioned in the endowment of Santa Maria de Ripoll in the year 888, and in 1279 Pere el Gran besieged its castle.
