Montsec Astronomical Observatory Curiosity · Àger, Noguera, Lleida The Observatori Astronòmic del Montsec is part of the Parc Astronòmic Montsec (PAM), in Àger (Lleida), a centre for scientific research, training and outreach promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya in the heart of the Serra del Montsec. In 2015 the Centre d'Observació de l'Univers launched the first classroom-observatory in Europe, with a 50 cm telescope that projects the images it captures onto eight screens so that visitors can observe the stars simultaneously; only the Mont-Mégantic Observatory, in Quebec (Canada), has a similar facility. The park also brings together other observatories such as Anysllum, Ager, Via Làctia, Joan Roget and Lo Fossil. Photo: Angela Llop (CC BY-SA 2.0) What to see and do in Àger
