Bridge of Sant Joan de Boí Monument · la Vall de Boí, Alta Ribagorça, Lleida The bridge of Sant Joan, in the hamlet of Boí, in the Vall de Boí (Alta Ribagorça), is traditionally the most important in the valley. It is a small stone bridge of notable age, spanning the Sant Martí river on the old road that led to Durro, and it has been rebuilt over time. Already in the 19th century, Pascual Madoz highlighted the bridge of Boí in his geographical dictionary for its notable old workmanship, a testament to the medieval engineering preserved in this Pyrenean hamlet.
