Aigüestortes plain

Plain situated at around 1,825 meters above sea level, within the municipal term of the Vall de Boí, in the comarca of the Alta Ribagorça, within the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. Above the Planell de Sant Esperit and below the Planell de la Molina, it owes its name to the meanders formed at this stretch by the Sant Nicolau river. It is one of the most visited spots in the park, accessible via the Sant Nicolau valley from the Vall de Boí, following the forest track that starts by the taxi service stop toward the Estany Llong.
