The Festa Major of Erill la Vall, a village of the Vall de Boí and home to the Centre del Romànic, is celebrated on 10 July in honour of Saint Christopher, patron of motorists and travellers, with the blessing of vehicles. That same day coincides with the Festa de les Falles, in which a wooden log called a faro is brought down burning from the mountain, its nighttime descent creating a trail of small lights down the hillside.
