The fiesta mayor of Josa i Tuixén is celebrated in a municipality that commemorates the trementinaires, women from the vall de la Vansa who, since the 19th century, gathered medicinal herbs and essences and sold them on foot in villages and farmhouses; the museum honoring them opened in Tuixent in 1998.
