The Casa forta de la Rovira, atop the puig de Mascarbó, dates from the late 12th or early 13th century and is documented since 1252; of rectangular plan with walls one metre thick, arrow-slits and a perimeter moat, it was excavated between 1924 and 1926 and is today in poor condition. An Asset of National Cultural Interest since 1988 (BCIN 1663).
