The witches of Viladrau

Between 1618 and 1622 fourteen women of the municipality were executed accused of witchcraft, one of the highest concentrations documented in Catalonia. The memory of the episode is kept up with the Ball de les Bruixes on the night of Tots Sants and at the Espai Montseny centre.
