Hermitage of Santa Margarida de Vilarnau, patron saint of Palafrugell, located in the small hamlet of Santa Margarida, within the municipality, in the Baix Empordà. It is a small Romanesque-style church that forms part of the region's notable ensemble of rural Romanesque architecture. The settlement around it was already a small hamlet in the 19th century: the 1860 gazetteer recorded sixteen houses there, fifteen of them inhabited.
