Cap Roig Cove Nature · Calonge i Sant Antoni, Baix Empordà, Girona Cala del Cap Roig is a small beach in the municipality of Calonge i Sant Antoni, on the boundary between Calonge and Palafrugell, located east of Sant Jordi beach, from which it is separated by the distinctive Cap Roig crag. At barely 49 metres long and 13 metres wide on average, it has medium to coarse sand and a rocky seabed; the Cap Roig islet, a reddish rocky formation covered with pines, gives it its name and character. At the northern end of the beach there is a hut with a small jetty for boats, the point where the coastal path running along the coast resumes its course towards Calonge.
