Shrine of la Mare de Déu de la Salut Monument · Terrades, Alt Empordà, Girona Marian sanctuary located on the north-eastern slope of the mountain of Santa Magdalena, next to the road linking Terrades with Agullana, in a complex formed by the church and the buildings of the former hostatgeria (pilgrims' lodging). Its origin dates back to the 17th century, when it was built over the ruins of the Mas Cadira; in a side chapel the tomb of Felip Olivet, founder and first hermit of the sanctuary, is preserved. The temple, with a neo-Romanesque façade and neo-Gothic interior, has three naves with a semicircular apse; two doors next to the apse bear the engraved dates 1686 and 1679. The main façade, topped by a large rose window, bears the Latin inscription “Salus infirmorum, ora pro nobis” and the date 1887, the year this part of the building was completed.
