Massa d'Or Island

An islet located 705 metres east of Cap de Creus, in the municipality of Cadaqués, also known as la Rata: it is the easternmost point of the whole of Catalan territory. With a surface area of barely 0.7 hectares, washed by the Mediterranean, it forms part of the Cap de Creus land-and-sea natural park, under whose protection it lies.
