Classic circular mountain-bike route around the Boadella reservoir, about 35 km, very pleasant in spring. The reservoir, inaugurated in 1969 on the Muga river, covers 363.3 hectares with a capacity of 60.2 cubic hectometres, held back by a dam 250 m long and 63 m high, and extends across the municipalities of Darnius, Sant Llorenç de la Muga, Terrades and Maçanet de Cabrenys. The old Reial Foneria de Sant Sebastià de la Muga was submerged beneath its waters. Its waters supply Figueres and the coast and irrigate about 4,200 hectares of the comarca.
