Industrial canal of the Ter in Manlleu

The opening of the industrial canal between 1841 and 1848 diverted water from the Ter to drive the factories of Manlleu and set the town's industrialisation going. Textiles occupied the town for more than a century and a half and the Museu del Ter today interprets that legacy.
