Tower of defensa de Ca n'Amell

Circular tower attached to one side of the farmhouse, with the base battered and the upper part lowered to adapt it to the current roof. It was part of the defensive system of the old estate of Campdàsens and is attributed a date from the 13th century or later. Medieval remains are also preserved in the drip moulding of the window located above the main door of the house; the whole, at once a dwelling and a defensive element, conveys a clear sense of strength.
