The coastline of Sitges (Garraf, Barcelona) is formed by urban beaches such as those of Aiguadolç, Sant Sebastià, la Fragata, l'Estanyol or Terramar, together with rocky coves at the foot of the cliffs, such as that of les Botigues. Sea bathing in Sitges dates back to 1888, and the municipality has become one of the best-known coastal destinations in Catalonia, with an important role in LGBT tourism.
