Mountain range of Ensija Nature · Vallcebre, Berguedà, Barcelona The Serra d'Ensija, in the Berguedà comarca, stretches between the municipalities of Saldes, Gósol, Vallcebre and Fígols, with peaks exceeding 2,300 metres, and together with the Rasos de Peguera forms an area included in the Generalitat de Catalunya's Pla d'Espais d'Interès Natural. Its boundaries are marked by the Vallcebre syncline to the north and the Fígols Vell syncline to the south, the stream of the coll de Peguera to the east and l'Aigua de Valls to the west. Forestry and livestock farming are practised on the range, with the brown cow of the Pyrenees, along with some mining activity and tourism; it preserves mining installations and the former Rasos de Peguera ski resort, together with several forest tracks and an access road.
