Gabriel Folcher Tower Monument · Castelldefels, Baix Llobregat, Barcelona A 16th-century defensive tower that preserves a stone with the inscription “IXS-XPS. GABRIEL FOLCHER PER ELL E PER LOS SEUS. MDLX,” which dates its construction to 1560; the current battlements were added in a restoration in the 1950s. It stands about 80 metres from the Climent Savall tower, with a square floor plan and access through the first floor; the ground floor, with an independent entrance, was used as a storehouse or stable. On two of its façades the machicolation is preserved, a defensive element from which the base of the wall was watched over and defended.
