Castle of Súria Monument · Súria, Bages, Barcelona A castle documented since the 10th century, although the surviving remains are no earlier than the 12th; today only the Romanesque tower still stands, enveloped by more modern walls, next to the Romanesque apse and bell tower of the adjoining church. Restored in 1981 under the direction of Josep M. Esquius, it now serves as an interpretation centre for the old town. Photo: Ainhoa from Catalunya (CC BY 2.0) What to see and do in Súria
