Former College of Sant Ignasi

The former College of Sant Ignasi in Manresa was built by the Jesuits throughout the 18th century and extended in the 19th, in the forms of Catalan civil Baroque, which combines functionality and ornamentation. Listed as a Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional (Catalonia's highest level of heritage protection), the building has been restored while respecting its original structures, to which a new glass-and-steel volume has been added, and since February 2024 it has housed the Museu del Barroc de Catalunya.
