The Valcorba stream in Bahabón Nature · Bahabón, Tierra del Vino, Valladolid Image of Bahabón, not of the place itself. The Valcorba stream, a left-bank tributary of the Duero 26 kilometres long, rises within the municipal boundary of Bahabón, very close to the border with Campaspero, and gives its name to the former Sexmo de Valcorba. The village sits at 887 metres above sea level in the small valley where the stream is born, the backbone of its landscape; its population has fallen from more than five hundred residents in 1970 to 97 in 2025. Downstream, the stream crosses the abandoned settlement of Minguela, gathering the waters of the Fuente de Minguela, and continues its course through Torrescárcela, Aldealbar, Montemayor de Pililla and Santibáñez de Valcorba, before flowing into the Duero within the municipal boundary of Traspinedo.
