After the 1836 disentailment, the businessman Juan Pardo bought the Monasterio de Valbuena de Duero for 250,000 reales; today the property belongs to the Archbishopric of Valladolid and is on loan to the foundation that organizes the Las Edades del Hombre exhibitions.
