Watchtower of the emiral or caliphal period raised to watch the roads of the páramo (high plateau), declared a Monumento Histórico-Artístico (Spain's heritage designation in force between 1931 and 1985) on 1 June 1983; it is the oldest and most valuable heritage element of the municipality.
