Image of Pinarejos, not of the place itself.

Pinarejos was part of the sexmo of Navalmanzano, one of the six sexmos into which the Community of Villa y Tierra de Cuéllar is divided, whose historic capital is the town of Navalmanzano itself. Alongside Pinarejos, this sexmo included Zarzuela del Pinar, Sanchonuño, Gomezserracín, Campo de Cuéllar, Chatún, San Martín y Mudrián, and Navas de Oro, as well as other settlements now deserted, such as Pelegudos, Gallegos, Losánez, Garci Sancho, Tirados and La Hirvienza. The community received a royal charter (fuero) from Alfonso X in 1256.
