Image of Pinarejos, not of the place itself.

The Autovía de Pinares (A-601) links Valladolid's outer ring road with Segovia's ring road over 104.6 kilometres, managed under a shadow toll. Until 1984 the route was part of the old N-601; in the late 1990s the road was widened and bypasses were built in various towns, including Pinarejos, which was brought into service a few months before the motorway's full inauguration in 2008. Since then it has crossed the municipal area and connected this village, at 818 metres above sea level, with Cuéllar, Gomezserracín and Navalmanzano, changing within a few years the accessibility of a historically isolated region.
