The evangelists of the pendentives

Curiosity · Hontalbilla, Comunidad de Villa y Tierra de Cuéllar, Segovia

Image of Hontalbilla, not of the place itself.

The pendentives that support the dome of San Pedro are decorated with frescoes of the four evangelists, a painted programme that accompanies the Baroque plasterwork that covers the vaults of the church.
