The gate of San Nicolás

It is the only survivor of the wall's eight gates and was declared a Monumento Histórico-Artístico (Spain's heritage designation in force between 1931 and 1985) in 1949. Built in the last third of the 12th century, it consists of two cylindrical towers flanking an entrance of two stilted barrel arches.
