The parish church of El Arco is dedicated to San Félix, an uncommon dedication in the comarca. According to Pascual Madoz's dictionary, in the 19th century it was annexed to the vicarage of Aldea-Rodrigo. At 7.10 square kilometres, the municipality is one of the smallest in the whole of the Tierra de Ledesma.
