The dismantling of the Eslonza façades

Despite having been a Monumento Nacional (Spain's heritage designation in force until 1931) since 1931, in 1947 the main façades of the monastery, one of them the work of Juan de Badajoz the Younger, and several carved arches were dismantled and moved to a church under construction in León.
