The legend of the roses of Santa Casilda

Daughter of the Moorish king of Toledo, Casilda took food to the Christian captives; caught by her father, she said the bundle held flowers, and flowers appeared when it was opened. Cured by these springs, she was baptised and died here as a hermit.
