The tradition of the three turns around the Cruz Colorada is celebrated in Mesegar de Tajo (Torrijos, Toledo) on the second Sunday of May, coinciding with the feast of the Santísimo Cristo del Amparo. The cross stands on the hill known as Cruz Colorá, the municipality's second-highest point, at 502 metres of altitude; devotees climb up to it and walk three times around the cross while making three wishes.
