With more than eighty thousand inhabitants, Talavera de la Reina is the second-largest municipality in the province of Toledo and the fourth in Castilla-La Mancha by population, after Albacete, Guadalajara and the capital itself, Toledo. According to the 2025 INE figures it has 83803 inhabitants.
