The Fiestas del Santo Cristo de la Tabla, the patronal festivities of Mejorada, are held on the last weekend of August and last a full week, from Friday to Friday. The preceding week is devoted to the Semana Cultural, with activities for children in the morning and afternoon; on the central Sunday there is a Mass in honour of the Santísimo Cristo de la Tabla and, in the afternoon, a procession. The image is venerated in the old chapel of the Cristo Arrodillado in the parish church, whose layout may be Gothic and date from the 15th century.
