The legend of the enchanted princesses Curiosity · Navahermosa, Montes de Toledo, Toledo Image of Navahermosa, not of the place itself. Popular tradition attributes the name of the castle of Dos Hermanas, whose ruins of Muslim origin stand about three kilometres south-east of Navahermosa (Toledo), to two Moorish princesses said to have been placed under a spell in the fortress. According to the legend, every Saint John's Eve the two princesses come down from the castle to the Marlín stream to wash themselves, before returning to their confinement in the ruins.
