La Sagra beer Food and drink · Numancia de la Sagra, La Sagra, Toledo The La Sagra brewery was founded in 2011 in Numancia de la Sagra, taking the name of the comarca where it is bottled; its logotype draws on Don Quixote's basin and the windmills of La Mancha. The plant makes craft beer that has given its commercial name to the whole comarca and is distributed across Spain, under the Sagra brand itself, aimed at the restaurant trade, and under the Burro de Sancho brand, for supermarkets and large retailers. It is characterized by craft production and a Castilian flavour, since all its ingredients are produced in Castile, and it is, despite this, the highest-production Spanish craft beer. It is the most visible example of the shift from an agrarian economy to agri-food industry. Photo: Wiay22 (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in Numancia de la Sagra
