Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Cabañas de la Sagra Monument · Cabañas de la Sagra, La Sagra, Toledo A 15th- and 16th-century parish church located in Cabañas de la Sagra (La Sagra, Toledo), built of Toledo-style masonry with a basilical plan of three naves -although it originally had only one-, separated by pillars and semicircular arches. The central nave is covered by an octagonal-plan limas mohamares coffered ceiling decorated with geometric latticework, an uncommon example of medieval Toledo carpentry; the central chapel preserves a similar ceiling, without decoration. The bell tower, at the foot of the church beside the north doorway, has three tiers, with the bells housed in the top one; above this, in 1987, during the last renovation, a rectangular brick section was added. The roof has four slopes. Photo: B25es (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Cabañas de la Sagra
