The Esparto Museum occupies a former municipal grain silo in El Romeral (La Mancha de Toledo), refurbished for this purpose in 2000. Across three floors it documents the extraction and preparation of esparto fibre and the craft trades linked to it: the first floor explains the extraction and preparation process, the second brings together pieces made with this plant fibre, and the third holds documentary material. The museum thus preserves the memory of a trade that was central to the local economy.
