Palace of los Señores de Valdepusa Monument · San Martín de Pusa, La Jara, Toledo Image of San Martín de Pusa, not of the place itself. The Palacio de los Señores de Valdepusa, in San Martín de Pusa (La Jara district, Toledo), is a 16th-century building erected on an earlier fortified house built in 1470 by Per Afán de Ribera VI. Its façade displays a heraldic stone that previously stood on a building located opposite, possibly the tithe barn (cilla) where tithes were collected. Next to it stands the manor house of the same family, also from the 16th century, built as a residence for the administrators of the lords of Valdepusa, where Saint Teresa of Ávila stayed during one of her journeys.
