Waterfall of el Chorro Nature · Los Navalucillos, La Jara, Toledo La Cascada del Chorro, popularly known as La Chorrera, is an 18-metre waterfall located in the municipal area of Los Navalucillos (Toledo), one of the most visited spots in the northern sector of the Cabañeros National Park, of which it has been part since 2008. Surrounded by quartzite walls covered in vegetation and moss, it barely gets any sun and preserves a primitive oceanic microclimate within the Montes de Toledo. The water, clear and cold, comes from the Chorro stream, which flows into the Pusa river and supplies the village itself from an intake built in the 1990s that damaged the old yew specimens found there. The surrounding area, sheltered by the Sierra del Chorito and the Rocigalgo massif, has a continental Mediterranean climate with hot summers and freezing winters.
