Sacred Heart of Cerro Mogorro

A sculpture of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús almost eight metres tall and weighing about twenty-five tonnes, installed at the top of the cerro Mogorro, in La Nava de Ricomalillo. The work of sculptor Rodrigo Espada Belmonte, financed entirely by the municipality's residents, it was raised on 11 December 2024 and blessed on 21 June 2025 by the archbishop of Toledo, Francisco Cerro Chaves. It has become a landmark visible from much of the municipal area.
