The tomb of viceroy Toledo

The remains of Francisco de Toledo reached Oropesa in 1605 and were deposited in the church of the convent of San Bernardo, a foundation of his family. After the disentailment they were transferred to the parish church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, where they remain today.
