A cave above the Linares river with some two hundred Paleolithic engravings, among them scenes of gestation and childbirth that are counted among the earliest known depictions of human reproduction. It was declared a monumento histórico-artístico (Monumento Histórico-Artístico, Spain's heritage designation in force between 1931 and 1985) in 1935.
