Parish church of San Bernabé, which presides over this village of Valdenuño Fernández, set in a shallow valley run through by the stream of Las Veguillas. In the mid-19th century, Madoz's Dictionary described it as a parish church of the 'entrada' (entry-level) category, served then by a priest and a sexton.
