Hermitage of the Virgen de Peñahora, patron saint of Humanes (La Campiña, Guadalajara), located beside the río Sorbe. In her honour the patronal festivities are held on the second Saturday of September, whose central event is the fire procession: the image of the Virgen travels about two kilometres from the hermitage to the parish church of San Esteban while the fields are set alight along its route, a spectacle of pain and devotion deeply rooted among the residents.
