The Mirador del Henares park, of nearly four hectares, overlooks the valley of the Henares river in Cabanillas del Campo (La Campiña district, Guadalajara), and owes its name to that dominant position over the valley. It is one of the municipality's large green spaces, together with the Antonio Buero Vallejo park, of two hectares, and the Elena de la Cruz park, of four, laid out along with other leisure areas during the housing developments of the 1990s and 2000s.
