The deserted villages of Megina and Villarejo

The municipal area of Lagunaseca was once home to two settlements now vanished, Megina and Villarejo, of which barely any traces remain on the ground. Already in the 19th century, Pascual Madoz's geographical dictionary recorded them as places where both villages were said to have once existed, by then depopulated and with hardly any visible remains.
