Church of San Bartolomé Apóstol de Laguna del Marquesado

Monument · Laguna del Marquesado, Serranía Alta, Cuenca

The parish church of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle, patron saint of the village, is the main historic building in Laguna del Marquesado. According to Pascual Madoz in his geographical dictionary of 1847, the church was then a chapel of ease of the parish of Huerta del Marquesado, on which it depended ecclesiastically.
