A hugely popular pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Consolación, located about thirteen kilometres from Iniesta, with an origin documented in the 16th century. On Pentecost Sunday the people of Iniesta carry the image of the Virgin to the sanctuary, where it remains until the third Sunday of August, and both transfers have been declared a Fiesta de Interés Turístico Regional (a regional tourist-interest festival designation) since 2008. The complex, with a guesthouse from the 17th and 18th centuries, preserves a Baroque altarpiece.
